"Tour de Trees" Bike Tour in Candler Park

  • Saturday, April 21, 2018
  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Candler Park

Candler Park Conservancy will co-host this great event organized by Trees Atlanta.

Spring is in the air! Join Trees Atlanta for a leisurely bicycle tour of Candler Park, Olmsted Linear Park, and the Lullwater Conservation Garden. The tree canopy of these parks and the surrounding neighborhoods of Druid Hills, Candler Park, and Lake Claire includes a number of specimen flowering trees, grand oaks and hickories, as well as some of Atlanta's biggest Champion Trees.

This morning tour is perfect for anyone comfortable on a bike (no need to be a super athlete). Helmets are required. The medium to easy ride will consist of many stops along a 3 mile route to talk about cool trees.

Meet at the Candler Park Pool. Space is limited so please register in advance through Trees Atlanta to reserve your spot for the tour! Tour will depart by 9:30 am and end just in time to eat at one of your favorite lunch spots in the Candler Park business district or Little Five Points.

Special thanks to the City of Atlanta for help supporting the Trees Atlanta tree tours!
